Well, the upside is that if we were united, we’d have no war except with other species and we’d advance faster as a species. If the world had been united from the beginning, we probably would be spread over dozens of planets in other galaxies and we would number in the trillions instead of being trapped on Earth threatening to cut each other’s throats.

wouldn’t that be a great idea? all of the nations just fusing into one force. imagine how much more we could accomplish if we all collaborated, all 6 billion of us. it probably wouldn’t ever happen though unless we actually WERE attacked by aliens from other planets. for right now, we’re just wasting our time by fighting ourselves

Perhaps one of the greatest advertising campaigns I’ve ever come across. I’m a huge fan of the trilogy and the books and the first time I laid eyes upon this commercial….I had to hold in the tears coz the perspective of this war doesn’t stray too far from the wars being fought here today. Will we ever unite? Who knows?
