Who thinks Halo 3 will have a huge impact on the Gameing industry?

With a lot of good games coming out, do you think people have forgotten Halo 3, or do you think all the true fans are just keeping quiet for the Real deal.
Oppinions? I have it reserved, But a lot of my friends say it’s going to suck, from what I’ve seen it looks great, but, who knows?

As an avid gamer, I can’t honestly say that I’m “eager” for Halo 3 to come out. Halo 2, yeah I was pumped, but Halo 3 doesn’t seem to exasperate anything new that hasn’t already been utilized in other great games.

As far as originality and influence is concerned, no, it won’t. It will have a huge impact all the way to the bank, but the Halo games have really been nothing but generic shooters that, to be quite honest, saved the Xbox from drowning itself in mediocrity.
It will sell just as well as the first two, but it will still be the same, tired-old crap that people seem to gobble up.

If people would do research and look at what they are making available for Halo 3 they would see new technology abounds and more is changing then meets the eye. They are doing things with Halo 3 tt they have nver done with a FPS. Mediocrity and Halo are no where near each other. There is a reason the Xbox 360 is klling the PS3 and Halo 3 is just one of MANY reasons. If you do not get Halo 3 you’ll be missing out on the best game of 2007 and probably 2008.

The only thing i can think will impact realy big is the fact that you can record your gameplay thats just awsome.
